The SWIFT protocol of interbank connectivity is incorporated into the C2Box solution of BAS
LA HULPE (Belgium) - PARIS (France), May 19th, 2009 – SWIFT announces its partnership with Box & Automation Solutions (BAS), which enables to incorporate the SWIFT connectivity into the C2Box solution of BAS. This operational solution has already been carried out both in Europe and in the United States.
The incorporation of the SWIFT communication protocol into the C2Box solution enables BAS’ clients to benefit from an automated data processing of SWIFT messages: information retrieval, integration, analysis and mailing of daily financial reportings. C2Box is designed for chief executive officers, chief financial officers, corporate treasurers, and internal auditors. In partnership with SWIFT, C2Box offers daily information on the company’s cash flows and cash positions. In addition, insofar as the C2Box solution incorporates all the messages of the SWIFT protocol, some of its innovative functions enable to optimize not only the management but also the analysis of bank fees.
“By incorporating the SWIFT communication protocol into our C2Box solution, we are able to offer to our clients an all-accomplished solution that comes up to their expectations and needs. The C2Box solution indeed enables to optimize their audit and cash flow management, while following their bank fees. Security, reliability, as well as the performance of the SWIFT protocol are some of the advantages of the C2Box solution,” explains Anis Rahal, president of BAS.
“SWIFT provides BAS’ clients with a secure and efficient interbank communication solution. With the incorporation of SWIFT into the C2Box, treasurers will benefit from an efficient solution, with many advantages, among which the anticipation of the ETEBAC’s (Echange télématique banquet-client [1] ) migration, which is a main issue for our profession as 2011 approaches,” comments André Casterdam, chief executive of SWIFT France.
Since November 2008, SWIFT is the main available solution to be recommended by the CFONB (Comité français d’organisation et de normalisation bancaires [2] ) within the framework of the interbank communication protocol ETEBAC’s migration.
